Eddie Zaremba is an associate attorney at Westfall Law, focusing his practice on landlord services, business law, and civil litigation.

Background

Originally from New Hampshire, Eddie grew up in a family of entrepreneurs, immersed in the workings of their small printing business. This early exposure to business dynamics, community development, and legal matters sparked his interest in the law and its intersection with business. Eddie’s passion for both business and social entrepreneurship led him to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises from Syracuse University in 2013 where he flourished as a student leader in the Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity space, served on numerous University-wide strategic development committees, and engaged extensively with the greater Syracuse community as a liaison between the University and local not-for-profit organizations.

Eddie continued his academic journey at Syracuse University, earning a Master’s degree in Cultural Foundations of Education, with a Certificate of Advanced Study in Disability Studies.

Eddie’s interests in business and entrepreneurship and his commitment to community advocacy drove him to pursue a law degree from Syracuse University College of Law and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Conflict and Collaboration from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. With his unique background and experiences, Eddie prides himself on not only being an advocate, but a counselor, educator, and leader who can both listen and advise to deliver clients the trusted counsel they seek.

Eddie’s professional experience encompasses a wide range of legal fields including labor law, business formations, non-profit management and administration, veterans affairs, disability law, intellectual property, and social security law.

Eddie has developed a strong reputation in the legal community for his expertise in landlord-tenant matters and skillfully representing clients in difficult situations and complex disputes. Eddie has successfully handled a wide range of landlord-tenant cases, including countless lease negotiations, eviction proceedings, and disputes over civil claims and housing quality disputes. His extensive experience and understanding of the nuances in landlord-tenant law make him a trusted advocate for clients seeking resolution in this complex legal area.

With a keen eye for business and collaboration, Eddie has assisted clients in forming and structuring their companies, ensuring compliance with legal requirements while striving to create real impacts in clients’ communities. He also advises and guides non-profit organizations through management and administrative matters while helping them stay focused on their mission. Eddie’s involvement in veterans affairs and disability law demonstrates his dedication to supporting and advocating for those in need.

Eddie is an active member of the legal community and maintains his membership with the Onondaga County Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association. He enjoys networking with fellow attorneys and continuously expanding his knowledge and resources to provide the highest level of service to his clients.

Outside of his legal practice, Eddie is actively involved in the community. He is a former president of CNY Adaptive Sports and remains an active member, supporting adaptive sports initiatives for athletes with disabilities. Eddie’s dedication to making a positive impact extends to his personal life as well, where he enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, hitting the gym, and exploring the beauty of Central New York, New England, and beyond with his wife, Sarah, and their rescue pup, Maria.
