Attorney Alger has significant experience in the areas of tax and estate planning, corporate law, business law, contract litigation, business torts, real estate transactions and disputes, foreclosure, and bankruptcy. He practices in both the U.S. Virgin Islands territorial and district (federal) courts.
As a result of his L.L.M. in Taxation from the Levin College of Law at the University of Florida, Attorney Alger has an expertise in Tax Law and significant experience navigating complex tax related legal issues.
As the managing attorney of a small civil law firm based in Charlotte Amalie in the U.S. Virgin Island of St. Thomas, Rosh frequently appeared before the Virgin Islands Economic Development Commission (EDC) to facilitate clients’ qualification for benefits under the U.S. Virgin Island incentive programs.
Attorney Alger earned his J.D. from Syracuse University. Prior to earning his Law Degree and LLM, Rosh was a practicing CPA and the Assistant Vice President of Arya, LP, where he represented companies in State and Federal tax audits, negotiated tax abatement, and responded to IRS inquires. He earned his M.B.A. from Woodbury University School of Business in Burbank, CA, after earning a B.A. in Finance and International Business.
Attorney Alger practiced law for several years in New York before moving to the U.S. Virgin Islands. He is fluent in English, French, and Arabic.
